Texture Tuesday

Hi Folks,
Just playing with Kim Klaussen's latest texture for Texture Tuesday. I have been saving these textures and not doing anything, so I wanted to give it a try.

I happened upon these pink poppies in a friend's garden. They were so beautiful, I just had to take tons of pictures of them. These are just a couple.

I really love the intensity of the natural picture,

but I also think the softened one is sweet.

Or maybe a bit over done! I think I need more practice with layering and light.

And a couple more in natural mode...

Which do you like best?

  1. I know lots of folks like to play with textures, but an American photographer here told me that she never does any digital imagery on hers. She believes photography should speak for itself, without any doctoring. I kinda think that, too. Plus, I'm too lazy to figure out all the different techniques. I definitely think that photo number 2, the natural one, is quite beautiful! Hope all is well with you. Have a great rest of the week. Tammy

  2. Dear Sherry, these are all beautiful captures and I too love to play around with images.;)
Thank you for your very lovely recent comment and wishing you a great weekend,

  3. The last one. I love it! I love poppies!
Hi, how are you? Blog land is quite lonesome now, eh? Geesh!

  4. Sherry, I love your photography!
Thank you for visiting me this morning

  5. How gorgeous! The soft texture looks like a painting, but I think I like the natural ones the best. Captures the simple, true beauty of a very stunning bloom. :)

Please stop in and say Hello ~ I love to hear from you, my friends!
